The menu is a bit overwhelming, it takes up the whole wall off the place, however it gives the place character. The place had plenty of things to look at and engage with while ordering your food or sitting down at one of the tables. The variety of salsas was on point. A free bowl of chips while you wait for the food! The owners were so kind and quick with the food!

Food: Plenty traditional Mexican food. Tacos, enchiladas, soups, drinks and desserts Service: the places family owned and as a community member of the nearby area. They are nice and friendly and the place is clean Final thought: they have rotating specials so go check them out

So I moved into the neighborhood in 2005. So I have absolutely no excuses for not trying Rosario Taco Grill before today. The chef (maybe owner) gave me a lil jab at that by saying “we just opened here —— 15years ago”. Love it. So the service is good and full of friendliness. I just love the beach decor it brought out my electric Kool aid hippie. The strawberry horchata is wonderful. I had the cubano torta. Good but a little bit of a miss because an authentic Cubano sand which is sooo good, regardless you will enjoy Rosarito’s torta. The green chili and cheese tacos have a good kick no joke. The enchilada breakfast is another flavorful dish. We definitely will be back to this local gem.

I googled mexican food in Whittier after walking the town ctr nearby. Rosarito taco grill popped up. I liked what I saw in the pictures and decided to give them a try. It's a little hole in the wall mexican restaurant. Upon entering, we were greeted right away by the owner. Very friendly, super nice guy. He really welcomed us and explained the menu. The menu is so big, there's way too many options. You will definitely find something good to eat! I opted for the taco de chicharon (Tortilla de mano). They make them with those small bits of chicharron that are left behind after the carnitas are done. The bits were crunchy, well seasoned. My gosh that taco was delicious! I also opted for the chile verde fries. The fries were topped with refried beans, pork chile verde, cheese, guacamole, and sour cream. They were also good. My kids opted for the birria tacos and a mini bowl of menudo. They gobbled it all up, that's how well they loved the food. We also got the Carne asada fries and carnitas tortas. Again the meat was well seasoned. We were checked on several times by one of the ladies who works there. Our food was delivered quite quickly. The portions are big! Their salsa bar has alot of salsas to choose from including Pickled cebollitas with or with out the zanaorias and jalapenos! The walls of the restaurant are well decorated. There's alot to see and read! There's a shelf with mexican cookbooks near by in the restaurant. There's card games on the table and also "spot the differences pictures on the tables. The owners really put a lot of thought into their restaurant. We really enjoyed our visit. It was very pleasant! Thank you for the excellent customer service!

Visited for the first time after seeing a preview on YouTube. The food selection was great with a variety of tacos, burritos, and combo plates. The only problem was that the mole only came with white meat. We will visit again.
